Title:Key Lime Pie
Yeild:About 8 Servings
Description:A summertime dessert, that is light and refreshing.
Ingredients:

  1/2-cup fresh lime juice (about 6 limes)
  1-9" baked pie shell
  3-eggs separated
  1-can sweetened condensed milk (14 or 15 ounce)
  6-tablespoons sugar

Directions:

 Preheat oven to 425F

 To Make Filling:

 1. Beat egg yolks and milk together, then add lime juice and beat
    until smooth

 2. Pour mixture into baked pie shell, set aside

 3. In separate bowl, beat egg whites until they begin to hold
    a shape, then gradually beat in the sugar

 4. Continue beating until egg whites hold firm, shiny peaks
    when beaters are held up straight, now you have meringue

 5. Spoon the  meringue over the pie filling to the very edge
    of pie crust all around, do not smooth meringue rather make
    peaks

 6. Bake in oven for 5 or 6 minutes or until meringue is flecked
    with gold peaks

 7. Cool complete and refridgerate at least 1 hour before serving
